How do I make an appointment?​

 

To make an appointment, click on the services tab first to select which service you would like. then send us a message. I will follow up shortly to schedule an appointment for whenever works best for your schedule. if you are unsure which option is best for your needs, send me a message and I will be happy to talk over options.

If you choose a text-based service, no appointment is necessary. Send a message whenever you have a question.

Are there refunds for cancellations?

For every appointment scheduled, The Mother Baby Pharmacist reviews the patient’s medical history and medications taken in order to provide the best recommendations tailored to each patient’s needs.  This preparation is done in advance for a smooth consultation, so we do not refund for cancellations. We do understand that life happens and schedules change, so we are happy to reschedule to another time. 

Does The Mother Baby Pharmacist take insurance?

We are a concierge-based service eliminating insurance barriers such as prior authorizations, out of network coverage, and appointment delays. One of the core foundations of the mother baby pharmacist is to be able to provide quick and easy access to evidence-based knowledge. Because of this, we do not take insurance as it can complicate the process and we want to ensure everyone has quick access of care.

There is a lot of inaccurate information all over the internet and social media which can become confusing when you just want to decide what is safest for your baby. We help you navigate the complexities of motherhood with easy access to a pharmacist right from your phone or laptop.

When should I use this service?

These services are intended for the entire perinatal period. whether you are thinking of having a baby, just found out you're pregnant, or are going through the postpartum period. The Mother Baby Pharmacist is here to assist with the journey of motherhood and help with the countless number of questions that arise to help you make the best informed decisions for you and your family.

Can I get prescription medications here?

The Mother Baby Pharmacist will not be prescribing medications unless we have a collaborative practice agreement with your physician.

Why should a pharmacist review my medications?

Pharmacists are often referred to as a “druggist” or a “medication expert”. It has been shown that including a pharmacist on your medical team improves patient outcomes and helps optimize medication therapy. We specialize in drug safety, cost-effectiveness, and efficacy. 

What are your qualifications?

I graduated with my Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Florida which is currently ranked number 1 in Florida and number 4 in the country. I then completed my consultant pharmacy license from nova southeastern to expand my practices. I currently work in a hospital as a clinical pharmacist focusing on emergency medicine, critical care, and general medicine.

Will The Mother Baby Pharmacist reach out to my other healthcare providers?​

The Mother Baby Pharmacist is here to provide you with evidence-based knowledge to help you make the most informed decisions. We will not reach out to your healthcare provider unless it is with one of our affiliated offices that we have a collaborative practice agreement with.
